She's one of those people who makes you want to stop whatever you're doing and really pay attention anytime she speaks. What I appreciated most about her instruction was that she struck the perfect balance of being encouraging without sugar-coating. She gave me the feedback--particularly around conveying feeling and telling a story--that I most needed to hear. | 5 | Banu's wealth of experience shines through every moment of her teaching. She's funny direct and creates an environment of ease in the classroom. Despite the fact that she had a million tasks to do at every moment while running camp she was present in our voice classes and took the time to invest in each one of us. | 5 | I wish I had had more time to work with Flo. I only got one afternoon class with her but in that time I internalized two important messages from her: nobody knows what your perfect is and remember that you sing because it's fun. | 5 | I aspire to have the ear and technical attunement that Meryl has. She helped me iron out so many of the techincal questions I had about the tunes I was singing all of which helped me sound as good as possible.
