"To-Wa-Bac-A-Wa" was recorded in New Orleans in 1927 by cornetist Louis Dumaine's Jazzola Eight. The Victor record label adds "Creole Blues" to the title; the melody is the same as the traditional blues song "My Bucket's Got A Hole In It".
